New Optex Wireless Photobeams - No more trenching - and $70 off in March

Optex has introduced the unique wireless-ready 100' and 200' photobeams.  They are battery powered for both the transmitter and receiver so by adding the wireless transmitter of your choice you can take care of your perimeter security without trenching.  During the month of March get $70 off either the AX-100TFR or AX-200TFR.

The AX-100TFR and AX-200TFR allows for 100 and 200 ft. of protection while offering the quick and cost effective installation not associated with hardwired detectors. In a traditional hardwired perimeter application, labor and installation costs can skyrocket due to the trenching and wiring required. Contact Group One through the month of March for your special pricing.

AX-100TFR and 200TFR Features:
  • Long battery life [Approx. five (5) years for the 100TFR and three (3) years for the 200TFR]
  • Low battery output and LED - The AX-TFR series automatically notifies when the battery    power becomes low (A second wireless transmitter is required to monitor low battery signal) Low battery LED will flicker when a front cover is removed
  • Works with most manufacturers wireless systems
  • D.Q. Circuit (Environmental Disqualification) - Eliminates false alarms generated by gradual signal loss caused by extreme weather conditions such as snow, fog, heavy rain and icy build-up.
  • IP55 Rated
  • Four selectable beam frequencies - eliminates cross talk in stacking applications
  • N.C. / N.O. output selection switch

GE Security TX-1010 - Potential Issue

GE Security has reported a potential issue with the TX-1010-01-1/3 switches produced before October 27, 2009 (09300 date code).  The sensors may intermittently report a false tamper signal due to corrosion and oxidation on the tamper plunger switch electrical contacts.  GE has redesigned the switch with a new tamper that is not susceptible to corrosion and oxidation.

If you experience false tampers with existing TX-1010, or if you have stock you wish to return with a date code prior to 09300, give us a call and we will replace them with new, redesigned sensors.
